i took the class (medical microb) to satisfy my 400 level course.
the class has actually opened up my eyes on several things:


1) woman can suffer from a lot of diseases through out her life! from anak dara, being pregnant, giving birth and until her golden age *sigh*

2) the early existence of birth control pills during the '50s has brought a really negative impact to the society. they felt that it is unnecessary for them to use the condoms (protected sex) since now, they can rely on birth control to avoid from being pregnant.

3) believe it or not, AIDS has actually bring a 'positive' effect to the community. People has started using condoms, again to reduce the effect of being infected by AIDS and also, gonorrhea and other STDs (sexual transmitted disease).

4) The deadly Toxin Shock Syndrome (TSST-1) is previously caused by the menstruating women where the existence of super absorbance tampon was able to provide the most 'nutritious' environment for the bacteria (S.aereus) to grow inside the vagina. ( gler scarry!)

5) it takes only 2- 5 years for new antibiotics to be resistant. and we're running out of options to create new antibiotics because of the resistivity .

and a part of that, the figures from most of the disease are really disturbing.
So, girls. please take care of ur hygiene especially during the time of the month.
